The installation presents a group of rocks of marble, travertine and alabaster, which, as they are explored, reveal geometric patterns depending one's point of view. These carved shapes are the outcome of the perception of visual hallucinations known as phosphenes, perceptible through flickering light or during hypnagogic sleep, among other mechanisms. This visual imaginary, which is inherent to the human nervous system, could explain the concordance of symbols and geometric patterns in different cultures isolated from each other. The evanescence with which they are manifested, usually to closed eyes, seeks to be sublimated in stone, referring to architectural ornaments of ancient cultures in which this same type of patterns can be identified.
